For Reelection as Town Justice
 
Cheryl A. Roberts, Esq.
8 years experience on the bench of the Austerlitz Town court. 20 years experience in environmental law and nearly a decade in municipal law. Former staffer to Democratic and Republican members of the US Congress. Former private school administrator.

Judge Roberts is a two term incumbent. She is an attorney with Rapport Meyers, LLP in Hudson, NY, specializing in environmental and municipal law.

Proud mother of two daughters — a freshman at Mt. Holyoke College and a junior at Chatham High School.

For Reelection as Town Justice

Robert Lagonia

Appointed to serve the remaining one year of the unexpired term of former town justice. Subsequently elected town justice and currently serving a second four year term.
 

Jurisdiction includes felony arraignments and preliminary hearings, misdemeanors, vehicle and traffic law infractions, small claims, eviction proceedings, and certain family court matters.

Responsible with Judge Roberts for all aspects of oversight of two court clerks, court budget and books.

For election to Town Board

Brian Polhemus
Long time resident who cares deeply about Austerlitz, its residents and issues. He has gotten to know many people in town and has listened to their concerns over many years. These issues and a desire to impact the community motivated him to seek a town board position.

A carpenter and cabinetmaker whose business is located in Spencertown, he is married to life long area resident Elizabeth Digiovanni, and proud father of Gianni a state bicycle racing champion who attends Chatham middle school.
